Application Purpose

What this application does.

This tool is an internal and client-facing web performance diagnostic application developed and operated by Lead Lock Systems LLC. It calls the Google PageSpeed Insights API to retrieve objective, publicly available performance data for any given website URL.

The application is used to measure how fast a website loads, identify technical issues affecting performance, and generate actionable recommendations for improvement. Results are generated in real time using Google's PageSpeed Insights scoring engine and are based solely on the URL submitted by the user โ€” no accounts, credentials, or personal information are involved.

This tool does not interact with Google user accounts, Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google user data. It exclusively uses the PageSpeed Insights API, which is a publicly accessible, read-only performance measurement API.

How It Works

Step-by-step application flow.

The following describes exactly how this application functions from the moment a user submits a URL to the moment results are displayed.

User Submits a URL

The user enters a publicly accessible website URL into the input field. No login, account creation, or personal information is required at any point.

API Request is Sent

Our server sends a request to the Google PageSpeed Insights API endpoint with the submitted URL and our server-side API key. The request is made for both mobile and desktop strategies.

Google Returns Performance Data

Google's PageSpeed Insights service runs a Lighthouse audit on the submitted URL and returns a JSON response containing performance scores, Core Web Vitals, audit results, and diagnostic data. This is entirely based on the public URL โ€” not on any user account.

Results are Displayed

The response data is parsed and presented to the user in a structured, readable format showing scores, metrics, and recommendations. The raw API response is not stored on our servers after delivery.

Session Ends

No session data, user profile, or analysis history is retained. Each request is stateless and independent. The user may submit another URL to begin a new analysis at any time.

Google API Services

This application's use of Google API Services is limited strictly to the PageSpeed Insights API for read-only performance data retrieval. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

No OAuth Scopes Requested

This application does not request any OAuth scopes. It does not access Google user accounts, contacts, files, email, or any other personal Google data. API access is performed using a standard API key only.
